About Me
I am a guide in self-exploration, a coach in the co-creation of meaningful lives, and a mentor in the discovery of who we are truly. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a private practice in Santa Monica.
I serve as a faculty member at the University of Santa Monica, which has offered a Master's degree in Spiritual Psychology, and in that capacity, I coached students in bringing into realization a heartfelt project of their own choosing. I also co-facilitated the Human Growth
and Development course with Mary Hulnick.
I love all my work, and am enriched by my students and my clients.
I received my undergraduate degree in English Literature from Wellesley College, a Master’s Degree from the University Washington in 1982, and was licensed to practice privately in California in 1988. I received a second Master’s Degree, in Spiritual Psychology, from the University of Santa Monica in 1991, and began teaching there in 1994. In 2008, USM’s Counseling Psychology program, in which I had served as both Director and faculty, drew to a close. At that time, I received the John-Roger Award for Teaching Excellence.
